TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Campaign Overview
The Audioversity Certified Phase 3 Campaign (“Campaign”) is an educational engagement initiative organized by Yamaha Corporation subsidiary, Yamaha Music Gulf FZE (herein referred to as YMGF) and implemented in Kenya by Credible Sound Limited and in Egypt by Future Music Stores. The Campaign promotes participation in the Yamaha Audioversity Online Program, specifically the Yamaha Certified ProAV Specialist - Level 1 course.
2. Eligibility
The campaign is open to residents of Kenya and Egypt aged 18 years and above. Employees of Yamaha, their affiliates, distributors and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
3. Campaign Period
The campaign runs for a limited period as communicated via official participating distributor and Yamaha Audioversity channels. Registrations, showroom visits, or social media submissions outside the campaign period will not be considered.
4. Participation Requirements
To qualify for the grand prize draw, participants must complete ALL of the following mandatory steps:
a) Register for the Yamaha Certified Pro. AV Specialist - Level 1 course.
b) Achieve a minimum of 60% course completion during the Campaign period.
c) Visit a participating distributor showroom in the Kenya or Egypt and validate entries at the DM3 designated experience corner at distributor showrooms.
d) Post on a public social media account (Instagram, LinkedIn, or Facebook) including:
- - A photo taken at the DM3 experience corner within the showroom - Proof of course progress or completion (e.g., screenshot showing minimum 60% completion)
- - Including the specified country hashtag #AOCertifiedKEN or #AOCertifiedEGY
- - Tagging your country distributor (this requirement is optional but encouraged)
Failure to complete any of the above mandatory requirements will result in disqualification.
5. Social Media & Advocacy Conditions
Social media posts must be publicly visible at the time of winner selection. Posts must be original, created by the participant, and must not contain inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, or infringing content. By participating and posting under #AudioversityCertified or any associated campaign hashtag, Confidential participants grant Yamaha and its affiliates the irrevocable right to repost, share, reproduce, and use submitted content for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation.
6. Winner Selection
The grand prize winner will be selected through a weighted random draw from all eligible participants who meet all participation requirements. Entry weighting will be applied as follows:
- - AO Course registration: 1 entry
- - Verified showroom visit: +2 entries
- - 60–70% course completion: +3 entries
- - 100% course completion: +5 entries
Yamaha and its participating affiliates reserves the right to verify eligibility, including confirmation of course completion and showroom validation, before announcing the winner. The decision of the organizers is final and binding.
7. Prize
Three (3) Yamaha STAGEPAS 100BTR portable PA system will be awarded from each participating country (9 grand prize winners). The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for other products.
8. Disqualification
Participants may be disqualified if:
- - False or misleading information is provided
- - Duplicate registrations are detected
- - Fraudulent or automated submissions occur
- - Social media posts are removed, made private, or edited to remove required elements before verification
- - Course completion evidence is manipulated or falsified
9. Data Protection
Participant data will be processed in accordance with Yamaha’s and local distributors applicable data protection and privacy policies and used solely for campaign administration, verification, and Audioversity communications.
10. General Conditions
Yamaha and its participating distributors reserve the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the campaign at any time without prior notice. Participation in the campaign constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
